This Valentine’s Day we’re playing cupid for all of our brokers and agents by sharing some tips to help elevate your relationships with local buyers and sellers:

  1. Engage with current and potential customers across a variety of platforms. When making a purchase as large as a home, most consumers like to feel their real estate professional is over-communicating and accessible 24/7. By keeping in touch via email, phone and social media you are reinforcing the fact that every one of your customers is a top priority from their first showing to their final contract signing.
  1. Focus on your current relationships, then turn to building new ones. Maintaining a relationship with current customers increases your chances of having them refer you to their friends and families and encourages them to return to you when it comes time for their next real estate transaction – no matter how much time has passed. In other words, you’ll be growing your business organically. Just as a significant other likes to know you’re thinking of them, so does a customer.
  1. Position yourself as not only a trusted advisor, but a reliable resource. Make sure your newsletters and social media feeds are engaging and feature local market information, relevant industry articles and other useful content for homeowners. Position yourself not only as a real estate expert, but as a local community expert as well. This will help keep your dialogue with customers constantly open.
