“While it wasn’t an ERA® event, it sure seemed like one!”

Elza Hayen, director of Interactive Marketing for ERA Wilder Realty in Columbia, S.C., was front and center for ERA Real Estate’s official trade launch of our new look at the Inman Connect conference July 15-18 and she thought we made a great impact.Inman4

“From the signage on the escalators to the massive banner in the hotel lobby, to the sponsorship of the cocktail hour on Wednesday and the morning coffee and ERA cookies on Thursday, you couldn’t walk two feet without seeing an ERA sign – one that said ‘we’ve made a change,” remarked Hayen. Hayen was joined by Team ERA representatives from corporate and across the country, about 40 in total, who convened in San Francisco at one of the industry’s major annual events to learn, network and spread the word that it’s time to take a fresh look at the “new ERA.”Inman3

President and CEO Charlie Young shared his insights during several high profile speaking engagements, adeptly tackling topics from technology and transaction management to branding and business building.

On the eve of the conference, Charlie and the senior leadership team hosted an exclusive VIP reception for industry influencers, technology thought leaders and media representatives.

Tracy Weir, founder and editor of the blog eight11.com, spoke with Charlie prior to the event and posted a great article about the reimaging campaign and how it not only reflects the heritage of the brand but positions it for the future.

“It was great to have a strong showing of TEAM ERA at the event to illustrate the energy and excitement of this landmark launch for the brand,” said Chris Trick, senior vice president of marketing and product development. “We worked hard to identify the most visible opportunities to make the most impact to the more than 2,000 attendees.”

According to Eric Estrada, marketing director for ERA Shields Real Estate in Colorado Springs, Colo., the visual impact ERA Real Estate had at the conference was “outstanding.” “Our new logo was strategically placed for maximum exposure which made an impactful impression. It was a bold but tasteful marketing strategy,” he said.

Pride was the word on the street.Inman6

Gus Grizzard of  ERA Grizzard Real Estate in Leesburg, Fla. told Twitter he was “Super proud of the exposure ERA Real Estate has at Inman Connect” and Elza Hayen said the marketing “takeover” of the event made her feel so proud to be a part of Team ERA.

“Inman Connect has long been considered the industry’s premier platform to showcase innovation, which made it the perfect launch pad for our new image,” said Charlie Young. “Equally important was being able to celebrate this milestone with a strong contingent of ERA ambassadors – a true reflection of the enduring ERA spirit of community and collaboration.”
