New Operational Structure to Focus on Four Key Areas of Broker Services, Business Development, Operations and Marketing

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (June 22, 2009) – In order to drive greater agility in the execution of its business growth strategy, ERA Franchise Systems LLC president and chief executive officer, Charlie Young, today announced a strategic realignment of the Company’s operating structure. Young also announced the appointments of three new vice presidents who will lead three of the four newly formed company divisions and serve on the Company’s senior leadership team.

“It’s all about continuing to drive enhanced value for our brokers and consumers,” said Young. “These new divisions have been put in place to align our business groups with affiliate needs, sharpen our ability to more quickly respond to changing market conditions and continue improving our speed of execution. By bringing together the business and service functions, we will be better able to deliver the types of products and services our brokers and consumers want most.”

The ERA® leadership team heading up these new divisions is as follows:

  • Melody Bohrer will take the role of vice president of the Broker Services group, responsible for the delivery of the ERA value proposition through ERA field staff and telephone support service teams. Bohrer has nearly 15 years of experience as a sales associate, broker and corporate team member with ERA Real Estate and brings an in-depth knowledge of how best to provide our affiliates with the solutions they need.
  • In addition, within the Broker Services group, Jeff Riber has been named to the new position of vice president, Strategic Consultant and will assess and recommend how to implement efficiency and growth strategies for ERA franchisees. In Riber’s 25-plus years as a member of the ERA team, he has played a key role in helping brokers to structure profitable merger and acquisition opportunities; and the financial management tools and processes that he has developed have been accepted and implemented company-wide as standard operating practices.
  • Debbie McGriff will now serve as vice president for Business Development, responsible for the management, creation and growth of products, tools, systems and education platforms that drive revenue growth for its franchisees. McGriff brings to her current role a successful track record of nearly 20 years in the development of superior products and services, building growth strategies and effectively leveraging external partnerships to generate revenue.
  • Stephanie Reyna assumes the position of vice president for the Operations group, responsible for the operational and administrative facets of the business, and interfacing with the support services of the Realogy Franchise Group. Reyna has a 15-plus year history with ERA Real Estate and brings an in-depth understanding of the business issues facing ERA brokers and sales associates, as well as a solid track record of improving their customer experience with ERA Real Estate.
  • The vice president for the Marketing group has yet to be named. Further details will follow when that appointment is made. Until that time, the group responsible for advertising, packaging and communicating ERA Real Estate’s value proposition to its affiliates and their consumers, will be overseen by Young.

“It is a credit to the strength of the ERA brand to have these experienced leaders with strong track records in driving growth and innovation,” said Young. “These individuals will usher in a new era of opportunity for our franchisees by combining both technology and services into programs that suit their needs and help them sell more homes. I look forward to working with these leaders and their teams to hone our focus and grow the ERA brand.”
