ERA Real Estate Grows Franchise System By More Than 50 Offices Last Year
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (April 8, 2009) – Despite the well-documented downturn in the home sales market in the United States, ERA Franchise Systems LLC continued to attract new affiliates and expand its franchise footprint in key markets nationwide in 2008.
ERA Real Estate reported that 20 new residential real estate brokerage companies joined the franchise system in 2008 accounting for 25 new offices. In addition, existing ERA® franchisees opened a total of 33 new offices in the United States in 2008. ERA Real Estate now boasts approximately 2,800 offices and 33,000 agents worldwide. In addition, ERA Real Estate expanded its international presence to 50 countries and territories with new office openings in Morocco and Romania under master franchise agreements.

In addition to the system’s growth, in May 2008, based on the evaluation of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals’ judges,ERA.com, the company’s consumer Web site, was awarded the Gold Award for Best Web Site Overall in the Hermes Creative Awards 2008 competition. In November, The MarCom Creative Awards presented ERA.com with the Gold Award. The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding entries in the competition.
