Earlier this month, ERA Brokers Consolidated agent Matt Harmon closed what is believed to be one of the biggest private real estate transactions in the history of the American West.

“The sale included irrigated land, range land, substantial water rights and 4,000 cattle,” said Harmon. “The purchase represented the only opportunity to acquire such a vast tract of deeded and leased land in the entire state, and constitutes a true legacy ranch.”

The 490,000 acre income-producing ranch boasts various streams, irrigated fields and cattle rangeland as well as pristine alpine forestland that serves as a home for elk, deer, antelope, and other wildlife. It’s located in the counties of Millard, Sevier, Beaver, and Piute in central Utah.

Matt credits his success to the hard-work and dedication he has to his career. He has “lived, breathed and dreamt” the deal for more than two years, spending hundreds of hours learning every nuance he could about the farm and ranch.

Congratulations to Matt on this momentous achievement!
