Last spring, we shared a post with tips around how brokers and agents could distinct-ify their listings to make them stand out from the crowd. This year, we’re sharing three tips for real estate professionals to distinct-ify their personal brand during the busy spring season!

  1. Update your bio and headshot. Almost everyone begins their agent and home searches online. So first and foremost you’ll want to be sure your bio is complete and your headshot is current – two things that can easily fall by the wayside over the years. Include keywords that will help your page show up in online searches, and add in a few fun details about your hobbies, interests and community background. This will help potential customers connect with you on a personal level, increasing your chances of getting a phone call.
  1. Customize unique swag and leave behinds. You’re likely planning to bring branded gear with you to open houses and local events (with a stash always in your car in case!). But make sure the items are really going to stand out from the rest – maybe branded cookies or iced coffee cups, or even branded family beach games. Take it one step further and order a customized graphic for your car, to make an impression while you’re out and about.
  1. Amp up the valuable content you’re posting to your website, blog or social media pages. Sharing relevant articles and other professionals’ tips on these platforms positions you as a trusted resource for your local market, but sharing your own content showcases you as an expert. Share a mix of your best practices, tips for potential customers and commentary around important real estate and community happenings.
