Whether you’re a basketball fan or not, March can be a month of “madness” for many in real estate. Here’s how you can make the month a slam dunk:

  • Work as a team. As college basketball teams are doing in their games, work together! As we look into April and May’s approach, we won’t see a slower pace in our industry until the summer time. Try CC-ing colleagues on emails if you want a second eye, or making sure your team knows if you have a busy day of showings. Leaning on each other will help!
  • Set realistic expectations with your buyers. Whether buyers are aware or not, spring selling season has been underway since earlier this winter. Level set expectations with your buyers from the beginning, who may be thinking they’ve caught the season early. By aligning on what’s available, what’s attainable and what’s achievable, you can ensure that everyone
  • Keep a hold of your schedule. “Madness” really can be the best way to describe this month – but that’s why we love it! Schedule time to check your schedule – from buyers shifting open house availability to last-minute showing requests, it’s important to double and triple check your dates and times all month long.
